The Vintage Blue Premium Baggy Jeans is cut from 12 oz stretch denim in a genuinely baggy silhouette: wide through the leg, clean at the waist, and cut to fall straight rather than flare.

Baggy, without the mess

Baggy denim goes wrong when the rise is too low and the leg is too wide, which makes the wearer look shorter than they are. This pair is balanced: a comfortable mid-rise sits on the hip, the leg opens gradually from the thigh and the hem breaks cleanly over a shoe.

The result is a relaxed look that still reads deliberate. It works with a boxy tee, an overshirt or a hoodie, and it does not need a belt to stay where it should.

The fabric: 12 oz stretch denim

The cloth is a 12 oz cotton denim with a small amount of stretch, which is what allows a wide leg to stay comfortable through a full day of sitting, driving and walking. It has enough weight to hang straight and enough give to move with you.

The denim is colour-locked during finishing, so the indigo stays deep and the black stays black instead of fading to grey at the seams. It is also sanforised, which limits shrinkage to a fraction of an inch over the life of the garment.

Inside, the seams are flat-felled at the outseam and overlocked elsewhere, which keeps the leg smooth against the skin and stops the chafing that cheap baggy denim causes on long days.

Construction and finish

The details are where jeans earn their price. The belt loops are double-stitched and set into the waistband seam rather than stitched on top, the pocket bags are heavy twill, and the front pockets are bar-tacked at the stress points.

Hardware is matte, colour-matched and riveted. The zip is a metal-tooth YKK-style unit chosen for durability, and the fly is finished with a clean facing so it does not bubble.

Fit and sizing

The leg is baggy throughout with a mid-rise waist and a straight hem opening. If you normally wear a straight fit and want the relaxed look, take your usual waist; if you prefer the full silhouette, go up one size.

Waist sizes 28 through 38 are available. Inseam is 40 inches uncuffed, which allows for stacking over sneakers or a single clean turn.

Styling Vintage Blue

Vintage blue is the shade people mean when they say ‘proper denim’. It has depth, a little history in the wash, and enough character to carry a plain white tee.

Wear them long over a chunky sneaker, or with a single turn and a loafer for something sharper. Because the denim is clean and unfaded at the seams, it works with both streetwear and a collared shirt.

Care

Wash inside out in cold water and hang to dry. Turn the jeans inside out before washing to protect the indigo, and avoid the dryer, which is the fastest way to shrink a leg and fade a seam.

Wash them less often than you think you need to. Denim is naturally antimicrobial and improves with wear; spot cleaning between washes is usually enough.

Unworn, unwashed jeans can be exchanged for another size within seven days. Message the team on WhatsApp and they will arrange the swap.

How baggy jeans should actually fit

The common mistake with a wide leg is going too wide at the waist as well, which makes the whole look collapse. This pair keeps the waist accurate and lets the volume come from the leg, which is what gives the silhouette its shape rather than its slouch.

That also means the jeans work with fitted tops as easily as oversized ones. The contrast between a clean waist and a wide leg is the part that reads intentional.

Choosing between two sizes

Denim with stretch will relax roughly half an inch at the waist after a day of wear. If you are between sizes, take the smaller waist and let it settle; if you prefer a looser waistband from the first wear, take the larger.

Inseam is generous at 40 inches, so the hem can be stacked over sneakers or turned once without losing the intended break.

Questions we get asked

Will the black fade? All black denim softens slightly with washing, but the dye here is colour-locked, so it fades at the seams rather than turning grey overall.

Is the stretch obvious? No. The denim has enough weight to hide it, and the recovery means the knee does not bag out after a day.

Can they be hemmed? Yes. The outseam is flat-felled, so a tailor can shorten them cleanly; ask for a single-stitch hem to match the original finish.

Do they need breaking in? Not really. They are soft from the first wear, though the denim will mould to your shape over the first few weeks.

Living with raw-edged denim

Good denim improves with wear rather than degrading. The first two weeks are where the creases behind the knee, the fade at the pocket edge and the shape at the hip begin to form, and that is what makes a pair yours rather than a pair off a rail.

Wear them two or three times between washes, air them overnight and spot clean marks as they happen. That routine keeps the indigo deep far longer than frequent machine washing, and it is how the seams develop the contrast that ageing denim is known for.

Once the parcel is with the courier you will receive a confirmation, and the team can track it for you on request. If something arrives damaged, or the item is not what you ordered, send a photograph within 48 hours and a replacement or refund will be arranged without argument.
